I recently completed both the 4-day Novice and 2-day Traffic Skills courses... and I'm amazed how much I learned in this training. I had experience riding a scooter prior, but never any clutch/foot gear coordination experience. The theory and practical lessons led by top notch instructors (mine were... Read more »

I took the novice course as a self dare...conquer the fear. With in the first two hours of the actual riding portion of the course, I knew I was hooked. I had only ever handled a motorbike once in my life and that was in my preteen years...I am 50 now....sorry I waited so long, but I can honestly say,... Read more »

I took the MST and traffic course at VISC 15 years ago, then took the experienced rider course twice. Once at the speedway on a hot summer day, and once on a pouring day in January. Those courses made me the rider I am today. I've been riding and repairing bikes my whole life, and VISC was the nexus... Read more »

I went into my course with about 10 hours of riding experience. Throughout my course I was the only person getting in my way. The positive encouragement & endless patience from the instructors was what kept me going. I am really hard on myself but they just kept reminding me how much I had already improved... Read more »

Lane position is now second-nature. Slow-speed maneuvering is child's play. Hazard awareness is always on. These three things alone are worth the price of admission to the VISC training. When I watch videos of biking incidents, I can see the poor choices many of those riders make - which contributes... Read more »

Although I have been riding since 1974, I decided to accompany my son on the Novice Skills Course during 2013 as I needed to attain my BC license. I was so impressed by the presenters and trainers who reminded and re-enforced the skills every motorcyclist needs to optimize their safety and low-speed... Read more »
